Designed to help nursing students excel in the studies, pass licensure exams, and prepare for long-term job success, the FOD Nursing Collection covers nursing skills; patient care and interventions; nursing foundations; diseases disorders, and disabilities; and special nursing topics.
Films on Demand: World Cinema Collection
A collection of over 700 movies that span the globe from the silent movie era to the present day, in languages from Albanian to Vietnamese. Includes celebrated movies from Akira Kurosawa, Zhang Yimou, Federico Fellini, Buster Keaton, and many others.
Feature Films for Education
A collection of more than 650 full-length feature films. This stand-alone collection from Films on Demand includes current and hard-to-find movies, including dramas, literary adaptations, blockbusters, classic films, science fiction, animation, Oscar-winners, and more.

This database provides discipline-specific coverage of engineering, spanning thousands of publications, many in full text.
ProQuest Global Breaking Newswires
Global Breaking Newswires provides timely access to newswire content from around the globe as well as growing archive of news.
ProQuest Materials Science Database
The collection contains materials science related full-text articles and the entire range of bibliographic records from the Materials Research Database.
Changes to Existing Databases
Credo has an updated search interface making it easier to limit search results by type, format, collection, subject, date, and even length. This online reference library has also added Research Quick Tips, short videos(1 minute or less) illustrating important skills for effective research.
Films on Demand
In addition to the always-expanding number of titles available, platform updates to Films on Demand also include improved top menu navigation and new featured series pages. VGCC also added the Allied Health, Nursing, and World Cinema collections (see New Databases above for descriptions).
HeritageQuest has added an Obituary Index, which can identify obituaries in historical newspapers as far back as the early 1800's. Full text access requires a user to have a separate Newspapers.com subscription.
Morningstar Investment Research Center
Updates to Morningstar include redesigned and enhanced security quote pages and quantitative equity ratings.
ProQuest Research Companion
ProQuest Research Companion has added a Source Evaluation Aid Tool that can show users basic information about some sources and help identify some as being scholarly.
SIRS Issues Researcher
SIRS Issues Researcher now includes SIRS Government Reporter, SIRS Knowledge Source and SIRS Renaissance. Users can search and browse the content from all four databases in one product.
Gale updated the database platforms across all of their databases, streamlining the search interface. They have also changed the names of some of their databases; in some cases this has affected where you can find the database links. The chart below lists the more significant name changes:
